The Conference of the European Science Parliament is concluded - for now!
The next step will be the delivery of the Aachen Declaration to European decision-makers in Brussels. Stay in touch to find out more - we will keep you up to date.
During the conference of the European Science Parliament, more than 100 participants from across Europe met in Aachen in order to recess the findings and proposals from the online discussions (Go there!) on this website into the Aachen Declaration 2010 on 'Water' (Download).
They achieved this aim during two days of hard work, discussing in plenum and five smaller groups arranged by the subtopics politics, society, economy, technology and my responsibility. These groups were supported by experienced moderators, who in turn worked together with the drafting group, which was responsible for the preliminary version of the declaration.
In addition to that, each group was accompanied by a live-blogger, who made the immediate results of each group visible on the web (Go there!) while the plenum was live streamed here on the site (Archive). There is also a flickr photostream (Go there!). Last but not least, you may find the Press Kit section interesting.
Thanks again to all who have participated, collaborated or contributed in any other way. Please feel free to leave feedback on the site and watch out for news on the delivery of the Aachen Declaration!">
