Dear Parliamentarians,

As you already know, the Meeting of the Jury happened a while ago. During the following days, we were busy contacting the winners, to see if they accept the call to be Members of the ESP 2010.

Congratulations!

As we mentioned before, this does not mean that all others have to stop participating in the forums – on the contrary! Firstly, competition is still open for all other groups (students, citizens, experts). Secondly, even those who have not been selected still can play a vital role in further events. Discussions in the forums will go on until the meeting in March. These discussions will help shaping the discussions in the working groups during the parliamentary session.
The most important task that lies before you is to collect and sort the numerous particles of the topic that were already mentioned during the previous discussions, then to find out what is most important and finally to compress all the information in order to be able to formulate the Aachen Declaration. So, all of you who have not been invited to come to Aachen can not only think of the selected Members of Parliament as your representatives, you can also shape the course of discussions in the parliamentary session by taking part in the online debates now.

Furthermore, we are working on giving those not in Aachen the opportunity to follow events via liveblogging and live streaming – so that you can react to events and post comments on our website. Thus, there will be the possibility to play a role at the conference over internet participation, too.

Thus, please stay tuned!

Yours,
The ESP Organisation Team
